~~~~~A Need To Bake~~~~~
I’ve got a hankering to bake more…..
Recently…..I got a huge (not the biggest I’ve seen) cast iron baking pan…..
…..for making GIGANTIC cookies…..!!!…..
There is one out there that is slightly bigger…(this one’s sixteen inches across)…..
…..but I’m not sure I could lift it…..
I figured that if bakeries can make super-gigantic cookies…..
…..then I can too…..
This big/round/cookie pan is super-dee-dooper heavy…..
It requires a “Valsalva maneuver” (similar to a dead-lift in bodybuilding) to pick up that sucker…..
*****The Manliness Of The Valsalva Technique*****
If I make enough of these monster cookies…..
…..maybe I will get rid of that wrinkly/flabbiness that has suddenly appeared sagging under my upper arms…..(?)…..
It seems to have appeared out of nowhere in recent years.
I used to value my triceps……but they seem to have gone the way of the DoDo…..
…..I mean…..I’m still strong…..but if the momentum of that droopy skin gets swinging…..
…..it’s enough to knock you off your feet…..!
And that’s why I bake with cast iron (among other-equally-good-culinary-reasons)…..
…..but cast iron does require hefting and lifting…..
…..it’s similar to a good exercise routine at a gymnasium…..but with tastier/more-caloric outcomes…..
I’ve already got an arsenal of sprinkles and sugars and toppings and jimmies for the monster cookies…..
I need to crank out a practice-run recipe before debuting them to the world (the Hunt Club and friends and family)…..
I would think lining the pan with parchment paper would be a good approach…..wouldn’t you…..?
…..a stuck cookie just wouldn’t be fun…..
*****Well here goes*****
