I don’t want to do this post…..

It’s my annual obligation…of a sort…..

It’s gotta be done…I suppose…..

We just had the beginning of this Year’s Hurricane Season on the first of June…..

Can you give me a Hip Hip?………….Can you give me a Hurray?…..

No?…..

…..I hear you…..

I don’t feel like cheering either…..

…..but it’s inevitable…as long as you live here…in Sunny Subtropical Florida…..

We’re still in a drought………….but the burn ban has been lifted (???)…..

…..Go Figure…..

We’ve basically only just finished cleaning up after Hurricane Milton…(from two years ago)…..

…..and here we go again…..

Last year’s hurricane season was surprisingly quiet (for us)…but…not so much for Bermuda…..

Hurricane Imelda took direct aim at them…..

However…..

If you can’t stand the heat…you gotta get out of the kitchen…..

And my daughters are Floridians…both were born here and raised here…they are little sub-tropical Floridian natives…..

I’ve tried talking them into going back up to Ohio…..

I’ve tried to make the icicles and snow look appealing and picturesque and fun…..

…..but it was a definite………….No-Go…..

They complain when the temperatures dip below sixty…..

But ice skating…and making snowmen can be So Much Fun!…..

…..(sigh)…..

You know…it doesn’t even look convincing in print…does it(?)…..

…..But Snowmen Are Fun!…..

So…I guess…Here We Are…..

And…Here We’ll Stay…..

To that effect~~~We might as well jump right in with this year’s hurricane information and the predicted outlook…..

But first………….let me dig out and put on my amateur meteorologist hat…..
